Graphic Design gives you the knowledge and skills to be able to create, manipulate and prepare for final distribution, printing of different media types. The course covers drawing, design, photography, typography, analysis, project management, illustration, colour applications and more. Some of the modules you will cover are:

There are 127 competencies in total for the Diploma of Graphic Design. You will be assessed continuously throughout the year. Your assignments are marked in the following way:
- Competent - high distinction
- Competent - credit distinction
- Competent
- Not yet competent
Your transcript will have these classifications which is different from a lot of other VET providers who just use the Competent or Not Yet Competent classifications. This grading system is more appealing to employers and universities as they know how well you did, not just that you have the qualification.
If you are looking to continue your studies further, this course can lead to a Bachelor of Management or Bachelor of Graphic Design degree. You will gain 24 credit points towards a 72 point degree which is the equivalent to 1 year. We have articulation agreements in place with universities across Australia including the University of Canberra.
