The Academy's Travel and Tourism course consists of three award levels, being a Certificate lll in Tourism - International (Retail Travel), a Diploma of Tourism, and an Advanced Diploma of Tourism.

The Certificate lll level course provides detailed knowledge of fares, destinations, travel agency procedures and computerised reservation systems, as well as the customer service skills required to be effective in a front line position within a travel or tourism organisation. Students are also able to qualify for industry recognised AFTA certification by achieving appropriate results. Industry experience in the travel industry is a critical component of the course.

The Diploma and Advanced Diploma courses focus on the knowledge and skills needed to supervise and manage a Travel or Tourism operation. Management and marketing skills are developed with a strong focus on their application, including primary research and practical project work for local organisations.
